imagine* language studio is a space for practising English quite unlike any other. Located in the heart of Ashiya, only a short distance from JR Ashiya station, it is easily accessible from Kobe, Osaka, Nishinomiya and Amagasaki. If you are coming on foot, it's just a short walk from Hankyu Ashiyagawa and Hanshin Ashiyagawa stations. For drivers, we provide free parking tickets for up to two hours in Laporte North Building's car park. The studio has a relaxing atmosphere that allows you to feel comfortable as you improve your English, and provides inspiration in the form of three-monthly contemporary art exhibitions.

I have taught many students English conversation in the UK and Japan. Before coming to Japan in 2004, I was an English teacher in London, where I gained the CELTA qualification in teaching English. CELTA is a Cambridge University accredited English language teaching qualification, which focuses on a student-centered learning approach.

Edward Price

Like Edward, I was an English teacher in London before coming to Japan, and I also have the CELTA qualification. I am an experienced kids' teacher, and I've helped to produce many original kids' materials. As an imagine* teacher, I want all of our members' lessons to be as enjoyable as possible.

Rebecca Price

During my 22 years teaching English at Seiwa College I taught many students. After retiring in 2008 I met Edward, and I support his teaching. I believe that here at imagine* we are dedicated to using our experience to provide a wide range of conversation based lessons.

Jan Ossorio Taniguchi

I have been living and teaching English in Japan over the last five years. I was an in-house teacher at a trading company in Osaka for 3 years and I have also worked in Tokyo as a business English instructor at various pharmaceutical companies. Before coming to Japan I worked in New York and Washington, DC as a research scientist and project manager for a nutrition and healthcare public interest group. I want to make my lessons here at imagine* fun and informative for my students.

Christina Alexander

I have been living in Japan and teaching English since 2006. During my time here, I have taught students over all age groups, from young to old. I got my first experience in teaching while I was still living in South Africa and doing my TEFL qualification. I loved it, and haven't stopped since. What I enjoy most about teaching English is meeting amazing people. Japan is full of good, kind people, and it is a pleasure to meet with and talk to them.

Marilu Snyders

imagine* language studio is an exhibition space for contemporary art. Every three months the studio is refreshed with a new exhibition of paintings, sculptures, photographs or installations. To the best of our knowledge this a first for English conversation schools.
