imagine* language studio is located in the heart of Ashiya, on the second floor of Laporte North Building. Adjoining Yamate Road, and only a short distance from JR Ashiya station, it's easy to pop in while shopping in Daimaru or Laporte.

At imagine* our aim is to provide high quality lessons that match our members' preferences. Whether you are interested in improving your General English, or if you would like lessons in Business English, Travel English, or to prepare for an exam such as TOEIC® or TOEFL®, we have the experience and the materials to meet your needs. We also provide one to one lessons for our younger members (Elementary school age and above).

At imagine* language studio our teachers enjoy a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge, and have a passion for teaching English. We understand the importance of catering our lessons to your requirements and making our lessons with you enjoyable and rewarding. We believe that if it's fun for our members, it will be fun for us too.

I have taught many students English conversation in the UK and Japan. Before coming to Japan in 2004, I was an English teacher in London, where I gained the CELTA qualification in teaching English. CELTA is a Cambridge University accredited English language teaching qualification, which focuses on a student-centered learning approach.

Edward Price

Like Edward, I was an English teacher in London before coming to Japan, and I also have the CELTA qualification. I am an experienced kids' teacher, and I've helped to produce many original kids' materials. As an imagine* teacher, I want all of our members' lessons to be as enjoyable as possible.

Rebecca Price

During my 22 years teaching English at Seiwa College I taught many students. After retiring in 2008 I met Edward, and I support his teaching. I believe that here at imagine* we are dedicated to using our experience to provide a wide range of conversation based lessons.

Before coming to Japan I worked for AIESEC, teaching English to international students, which gave me the opportunity to teach many different kinds of people. AIESEC is an organization which helps students from all over the world achieve their goals. I am a "people person", which means I love socializing and meeting new people. I try to make all of my lessons enjoyable as well as educational.

imagine* language studio is an exhibition space for contemporary art. Every three months the studio is refreshed with a new exhibition - it might be paintings, photographs, sculptures or installations. To the best of our knowledge this is a first for English conversation schools.
